Watch on Video: How Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Punches the Sheriff

Sara Duterte, Davao City's Mayor, has proven she is really the successor of her feisty father ‘The Punisher’ the Ex-mayor Rodrigo Duterte who was Davao’s disciplinarian for over years.  FYI: Mr. Duterte made Davao a progressive and one of the most discipline cities in the Philippines. This legacy is carried over to his daughter.

In a demolition, in one of the squatters area in Davao City, the lady mayor repeatedly punched the Sheriff of the Davao Regional Trial Court, Abe Andres, after not following the instruction given by the mayoress.

In an interview with ABS-CBN's ANC, Duterte said she already sent the Sheriff to the hospital.

"I actually sent him to the hospital after the confrontation. I think that's sorry enough," Duterte said in the interview.

Duterte said the Sheriff refused to wait for her before pushing through with the demolition. She noted that she was asking for a two-hour extension to avoid riots.

Sarah Duterte refused to categorically apologize but has admitted that her act cannot be justified.

"I cannot justify what I did but I will stand by what I'm saying that I was asking him, for humanitarian reasons that you wait for me...so that no riot will happen," Duterte said in a televised interview.

The lady mayor said she's also ready for any charges.
 

According to the latest news,  Sarah Duterte file a leave of absence starting on July 4 to 6 in order to answer the complaint from the sheriff.

MY OPINION: 

Kung may kamay na "iron" tayo sa lahat ng mga batas na ating pinapatupad, I guess everything will respect the law at matakot gumawa ng krimen and for sure the Philippines will improve. In this case she (Hon. Sarah Duterte)has a good intention but her action cannot justify what she did. 

For her coward action eto ang sayo... punching glabs ni Mr. Manny Pacquiao... and I believe you sought for the title The Punching Queen... Pwede kayo ni Manny Pacquiao kaso di na siya available.. What can you say Mommy Jo... Dionesia... lol  :)

For the sheriff eto ang award: most punctual na, best in initiative pa.. EPAL? Para kang si ano sa office..

Another lesson for everybody! Marami tayong makuha na aral dito!!! :)
